Where is the light at the end of the tunnel ?Adopting the new constitution
Reelect Payment and Gravelle.Rid the tribe of those rogue board members...Abramson, Causley, Paquin, McKelvie and EitremDon't repeat the mistake by adding a McCoy or Booschor to the board.
There are a few new faces that will bring a renewed hope to this tribe. Is it reasonable to think that Cathy Abramson is capable and committed to bringing the best government to its citizens?After all, she has been in office for twelve years.Has she offered the leadership of someone with that much time in office ? Has she watched over the tribe's resources with any expertise ? Did she safeguard the Elder's legacy ? The answer is NO !

She supported an arrogant Bernard Booschor who is responsible for squandering millions of dollars in secret deal and mismanagement. Cathy Abramson supported Benard Booschor's conspiracy to deplete the tribal bank account by 2.6 million dollars and then lobbied the board of directors to dismiss charges against those that took the money.

She supported the Booschor deal with the greeks and the taking of the Elder's Land Claims Settlement money.I am sure that the Elders feel ashamed to have voted for her in the past.She supports Booschor and Causley's attempt to keep the new constitution from becoming law.She is desperate for four more years........but, doesn't deserve it..She has only served as a coconspirator.

Is it reasonable to believe that Dennis McKelvie has represented Unit 1 citizens and the tribe as a whole ?He initiated the purge of Mac Band decedents. Has Denniy watched over and safeguarded the tribe's resources with any expertise ? Has he demonstrated any leadership ?Has he offered any hopeful messages of government reform ? The answer is NO ! Denny has used his time in office to deny membership. He has used his time in office to conspire against the needed government reform. It is most likely that he was the source of leaks to the Sault Tribe Trash, bringing shame to to this once proud tribal family.

Is it reasonable to think that Fred Paquin has offered hope, through solutions, and demonstrated leadership as a board member ?Has he fullfilled his promise to represent the membership ? Are you proud of the way he turned his back while Booschor gave millions away? Are you proud of his service ..? The answer is NO ! He brought shame to the tribe, in a very public way with his immoral behavior. He failed as an appointed CEO of the Greektown management board. He didn't last a few weeks before being stripped of his gaming license and the position. He has been double dipping despite the ovewhelming conflict with his constituents. He is a conspirator.

Is it reasonable to think that Lana Causley is trustworthy ? Has she shown any leadership as a board director? Did she lie when filling out grant request with the federal government on behalf of the Mac Band....when she stated that she wasn't a member of any tribe? The answer is NO !Lana is a coconspirator that has duped her constituents and the entire membership into thinking that she is watching over the tribe's business. Her main purpose has been to stop the government reform. She will do whatever it takes to see that this new constitution doesn't see the light of day.
