As predicted, DJ Malloy responded to my question about the 'Compliance Resolution'.
The trial for Bernard Bouschor regarding the 7+2 lawsuit and the resolution is related to the decision by the judge who recused all Sault Tribe members from serving on the jury.
Because the trial will be held in Chippewa County where the majority of Bouschor's votes came from, the chance that the jury would be packed with his supporters was of great concern, but that decision prompts yet another concern; Bouschor always ensured he had the non-native support as well. Remember all those photo ops with smiling Bouschor handing over large donations to Sault organizations? Who got the credit...Bouschor or the Sault Tribe?
As the trial date approaches I will remind concerned tribal citizens to show your support not for Bouschor, who has damaged the reputation of the tribe as well as nearly destroying it financially, but for the Sault tribe people who suffered losses we will never recoup.

You have not provided sufficient information here for one to understand what you are writing about ? And of course it does appear you are jumping to the defense of Director Malloy in the face of much criticism. Sorry, one act does not begin to address the inaction of several months now.
It is absolute discrimination to recuse a group of people based on a political affiliation, such as tribal membership ! I object strongly to this action. As a Tribal member I never did support Bouschor !

We have to look at the fact that the constant criticism by one anonymous poster of DJ Malloy, who is in her ninth week as director,(to claim 'several months' is an exaggeration of the facts) could also be that of an opponent.
If not, than my suggestion would be to contact DJ Malloy personally if you want her to speak for you. If she doesn't than get back to me with the details and I will post them.
Feel free to bash those who have a record of failing us miserably over a period of years rather than weeks.
Hey, Malloy should not have to be ASKED for information that is being kept from members. She should be at the forefront of disseminating it. We have been led around by the nose by Board members for so long now that we think just because one answers a question that they are doing a 'good' thing. Baloney ! She should be telling us information at the time it happens or giving us advance notice of pending action. I hear that Malloy is even missing meetings and workshops because she does not want her board role to conflict with her job. No I am not an opponent. I was a supporter of her ! But the time has come that we have to start demanding more from all our Board. I am focusing on Malloy because she promised us that she would be different. So far , except for answering questions when asked, she is no different. Answering questions is not sufficient to start praising her or even accepting her. She needs to do much much better.
i agree i voted for director malloy i had asked her at the time of the elections if she was going to be true to her word an making people be accountable for their actions and we had even discussed some of these i see with quite a few posters asking about the reason for Darcy Chases termination what has Tony Goetz been telling the BOD Mrs. mckerchie steals on a daily basis from the tribe period has for years it was not confidential information Gaming commision took her check writing rights away she is not supposed to write a check at any properties owned by the sault tribe of chippewa indians how does she pay her rent at the rez.director holloway can you answer that? I recently did some looking into Miss Chases working history it was sickening to learn that Darcy had had not one single write up in almost twenty years of service it was not until MRS> MCKERCHIE went to work at the shores as her ASSISTANT that miss Chase started having so many write ups most company CEO'S,COO"S or Board Of Directors would have immediatly been red flag as something is wrong with this picture.I mean how many drug tests can a person leagaly be given in a few weeks before it is cosidered a hostile work enviorment we are lucky she did not sue the BOD another problem the tribal membership would have to pay. As a poster has already said we are for the most part scared for our jobs but when you see that even someone of Miss Chases caliber can get fired for no reason other than trying to show Tony Goetz the real crooks at work i mean you would not believe how many times cathy and dj and bernie have covered for sheryl it is crazy the stuff that certain board members do to protect their sorry theiving kin.Why did Director Chase not step in and help her kids all which have been fired since MR.joe give me a shot Mccoy was elected and i understand now they are head hunting her sisters. If any one has half a brain out there I would vote for Director Chase for Chair in a heart beat she is the only true Board member as fas i see you dont see her more worried about her family than the tribes interest we need more BOD's like that.It is not worth worring about malloy anymore she is done in four amberson in two,rickley in two eitriem in two bernie ASAP
