Michigan has the potential to be a world leader in clean, renewable energy sources that will create thousands of jobs, boost our economy, strengthen our national security, make us energy independent, and safeguard Michigan’s natural resources heritage.

The NMC Student Life, Repower America and National Wildlife Federation are hosting an educational clean energy forum on Saturday, June 12, from 1:30 to 3:30 at the Milliken Auditorium in Traverse City.

Panelists include diverse professionals that will discuss Michigan manufacturing jobs, economics of clean energy, energy efficiency, national security, natural resource safeguards, government's role, and Traverse City’s youth. Join us for an engaging discussion on clean energy solutions.

The forum will conclude with a FREE community picnic at the Civic Center sponsored by the National Wildlife Federation.

Panelists:

Len Allgaier - Manufacturing Strategist
Brenda Archambo - National Wildlife Federation
Kevin Numerick - Repower America
Ric Evans - Paradigm Energy Services, NMC Professor
Dylan Zachman/Jeremy Meagher - Youth Leaders

Panelists may vary at any time.
