Sault Ste. Marie, Mi...Citizen Aaron Payment spoke to a full house at the Pizza Hut here in the Soo last night. A broad cross section of the Sault Tribe membership is alarmed over what has become known as another Greek Giveaway.The Boushor, Causley, McCoy faction has cooked up yet another scheme to make itself rich..at the individual tribal members expense. They want their Detroit millionaire friend Gatzeros to make off with still another handout...to include the likelihood of there being something in it for them.
Altogether these three directors...along with Rickley and Hollowell... want to giveaway 26% of the gross revenue of the proposed casino in Romulus, Michigan with no Greek money to be invested. Reminding members of the Detroit Greektown disaster...wherein the Greeks made off with a 50% ownership...and a hundred and ninety-five million after investing a mere twenty-five thousand.
The audience at Pizza Hut was eager to hear the message which was expertly delivered by former chairman Payment...that members have until the 8Th of December to get their hands onto a petition and put their signatures on it and get the forms back to him in order for them to have a referendum on whether the tribe should proceed with still another disastrous Greek deal...remember the barge....or stop this one cold in its tracks before it's too late and the tribe gets sold down the creek again...or whether the tribe should seek a much better deal with still some other millionaire eager to strike a deal with it on much more favorable terms... or if the tribe should simply proceed forward on its own and show some backbone and confidence and imagination and build its own casino in Romulus...something on the order of what the Bay Mills Indian Community has done near the Northern Lower Michignan town of Vanderbilt.

Mobilize and Make Change
The Sault Tribe membership is responding to a wrong perpetrated on them, once again, by Benard Bouschor.
The last time that they expressed themselves through a referendum, was when they said "NO" to Benard Bouschor in regard to allowing him back in tribal government. Well, that hasn't worked , yet, due to a Board of Directors that were bluffed into thinking that the referendum wasn't binding.
It is in the constitution which they swore to uphold. So, here we are again.
This time, it is to reverse another wrong put into motion by none other than Benard Bouschor and his Greek friend. The partners knew the tribe was desperate and would take any deal handed to them.
The proposal was outrageous. A whopping 26% would go to the casino sharks, for influence, once again.
But, fortunately for the Tribe, the members have learned how to come together and fight the corruption and mismanagement. They have learned to mobilize and make change.
If you haven't taken the steps to get the petition, sign it, and send it in........... then you are failing to take responsibility for yourself as a tribal citizen and unwittingly aiding and abetting.
It is a small individual step to take........... to protect the tribe's interest.

This deal is no less stupid than the windmill project which will cost an enormous amount of money that we do not have, and will have no return on the investment for years. Face it, these board members are just plain stupid. They should not be making any financial decisions at all because they simply do not have a clue.
