WANT A JOB?

Buy American....!
Stop buying imports, for crying out loud, and put Americans back to work.

But most people don't realize a lot of the products they buy at Wal-Mart at made in China. Pretty much every toy there is and some food is. I bet by the time you walk out of Wal-Mart over 60% of your cart is not from the USA.

So if you want to live by this rule of buying American. Avoid Wal-Mart or read the labels.

I would love nothing more than to buy an American car. But gas mileage and safety needs to improve in these areas. I did buy a foreign car that part of it is built in American. I would buy American if they actually made decent cars that beat foreign cars. I wait for this to happen.

Sending jobs over seas is a big mistake. Our reliance on oil is also a big mistake. Support new technologies and reduce your own carbon foot print.

I live in a town that has been decimated by the appearence of the Walmart superstore. The once thriving main st is now desolate. The businesses that were there simply could not compete with the buying power of walmart and so they left..replaced by nothing. What was once a thriving community is now a shell of it's former self. Our young people have no choice but to leave and not come back. If the young are our future then it is sad indeed to know that the future of most small towns in bleak. Is there anything more depressing? And so while govt's across the globe ignore their people is it any wonder the spirit of revolution is all around us. I think no one should be suprised at any of the unrest. I for one believe that it is only a matter of time until it is in a neighborhood right around the corner. Do I like that thought? Not especially but I do understand.

What's made in America any more?

That's the question. And the sooner we realize not much, we will begin to understand why we are in the state we are in.

Even our main source of fuel is outsourced to another country. We have become to independent on other countries who are now capable of bringing us to our knees by just raising the prices.

How about MADE IN AMERICA by LEGAL CITIZENS or LEGAL IMMIGRANTS?
Ex: American Apparel continually hires illegals to make clothes they tout as "American". WRONG

Now here's a 5 minute video of a man trying to help the WHOLE EARTH by doing things LOCALLY.

Thanks Lynn for your site.

We have had illegal immigrants in this country since the landing of Columbus. Illegal immigration today is supported by big corporations who hire them to work for a lot less. I would rather have Mexicans from America working in our country that we can compete with for jobs than to have those jobs completely disappear from our reach, not to mention the lack of controls in China and other 3rd world countries. What is really in that dish you are eating from?

Our right to make changes through referendum is the one voice we have left....use it.
