KARMA FINDS KIBBLE

Holly Kibble joined the ranks of the unemployed recently much to the surprise of those she supervised and worked with.

Recently Kibble was arrested for drunk driving and leaving the scene of a property damage accident. According to the current Sault Tribe personnel policy, her actions were cause for immediate termination. Kibble, who tried to make excuses and downplay her activities that led to the charges against her, failed to convince the judge that it was just a mistake...no big deal.

A former employee, who was terminated for a similar but lesser charge, pushed hard at the McCoy administration to force them to abide by the same standards that are applied to all other employees. This is how you make things happen...you stand up and make your voice heard.

Kibble has been throwing her weight around at the wrong people and for the wrong reasons for too long. Karma finally found her.

Under no circumstance should any human being stand in the way of care for an elderly person. Karma takes care of those who violate the basic human descency laws.

In this case the instruments of Karma that paid Ms. Kibble for her past actions were a tribal member fed up with the way tribal members and tribal employees are treated and a judge whos has already heard a 1000 sorry excuses.

I also think that just maybe the people in power are beginning to realize that they can no longer turn their heads and make exceptions for one another. I might add that it would be foolish on their part to think that a few fair and just actions will provide immunity to the Karma they have been creating.

These tribal officials better realize that with the involvement of federal agengies no one, anywhere, in any position is immune.

A lot of us are finally beginning to see the light at the end of the tunnel with the crooks being taken down one by one. That dominoe effect is finally falling into place. I can see a change in the way Cathy A is voting and I think she got the message loud and clear. She better change her ways because she is next to get voted out.

Our right to make changes through referendum is the one voice we have left....use it.
