SLIPPERY DEALS AND FOUL-UPS ATTRACT SAULT TRIBE CHAIRMAN

From The News-Herald...Huron Township. August 28TH, 2010

"She said it’s irrelevant that Pinnacle is in a land bank. She said the property has a value of $14.5 million, and should pay its taxes.
Mary Collins, a township Board of Review member, said at Wednesday’s meeting that she couldn’t believe an entity that size wasn’t taxed.

“I can’t figure out for the life of me how we missed Post-It Stables,” she said.

COMMENT FROM ANONYMOUS POSTER:
" JP... Post it Stables, owes the twp. police $150K for services rendered, they have not paid water bills on time, their electric has been shut off twice for non-payment, they have not lived up to their promises made to the twp. and they have not been good neighbors. They knew they owed taxes, Jerry Campbell is a multi-millionaire, and multi business owner. You can't tell me he didn't know that he owed taxes... "

It should not come as a surprise to anyone that the Board makes secret and stupid decisions. Look at the decision makers. What qualifies any of them to make good decisions ? We have a LSSU grad who many say had her husband do her course work, others say it was a gift to a tribal member, we have a subway sandwich maker, a salvage yard operator, a BOD currently being sued by the tribe for misuse of funds, a poster maker, and similar credentials ( or lack thereof). These people are so clueless they do not even realize what they do not know. Their arrogance prevents them from realizing their own stupidity.

Here is more: A so-called business man who never ran a business. A school administister that run one of the worts Indian schools in the country. A toll both operator on the Mackinaw Bridge. A director who the the tribe is suing for emballzing millions. There is more but its to worrisome to continue

It is time to get rid of all incumbents and get some people with at least half a brain on the Board in two years. Heck, getting rid of Abramson alone would probably save the tribe lots of money in useless travel to frivolous conferences.

it comes as no surprise that the dirty deals made behind closed doors once again will prove to be detrimental to all but a few tribal members. follow the money... the millionaire race track builder isn't paying his taxes, light bills and water bills. why would anyone with half a brain have any business dealings with such a dubious chracter? he also tried to get a 40%interest in greektown to no avail. seems like he's aware of the less than steller sault tribe leadership and is taking advantage of the weak minded cretins who are willing to sell out the tribes future.way past time for an outside investigation.

I hear there was a slippery deal that went on at the St. Ignace Midjim with the manager who is the sister of a BOD. A large sum of money was taken, between $10,000 and $20,000. Will the foul-up be in the Tribal Prosecutor's office? Just another example of it's not what you know, it's who you are related to.

fred took care of that deal lana gave him some sexual favors for payment. getting rid of abramson will finally save the tribe millions just in what her family steals daily from the tribe in free meals or not showing up to work on a nice salary i mean realy what do the mckerchies dobod would be better of to tell them to stay home and send a check to them each week would make a lot of team members that actualy care feel better has anybody foung goetz's balls yet must still be in bonnies purse

Our right to make changes through referendum is the one voice we have left....use it.
