Cause for Removal of Bernard Bouschor

The tribe has no statute of limitations, so is there cause for removal of Bernard Bouschor for exceeding the legal limits of campaign spending as well as his efforts to conceal the overspending? See File

See the attached links: Deposition and testimony regarding campaign fraud and violation of campaign spending limits.

Tribal prosecutor...members request that you do your duty in regards to the campaign fraud that can be substantiated by testimony in a court of law.

Look...If you don't know how to tell your Unit representative that you are fed up with this tribal shame called "Bouschor",
just call them up and say, "It isn't anything personal, but you will loose my vote if you don't take action".
Protect our tribe!
That is your job!

Look,it is easy for Aaron to sit on the side lines and hammer the tribal prosecutor but he of all people knows full well that the prosecutor reports to the board and cannot take action unless the board supports it. So why is he hammering on this person. Only a coward would do that. Aaron get out from behind your computer, asking everyone else to contact the Board, and go to a meeting and confront the Board in person. Why can't you do that. You are only two blocks away.

All the more reason to implement the new constitution to separate the powers. If the board turns down prosecution than hold them responsible for their actions. Members have to step up to the plate and take control of his horrendous situation. A handful of courageous voices cannot do it alone.

That's right, Aaron should be going to the Meetings.

Ms. Weaver is right...The Michigan Supreme Court ruled that Bernard Boushour did not have the authority to make the payouts. and the Michigan Appellate Court ruled the the key employees quit and weren't fired. There is no stautue of limits coverng these crimes against the tribe. They are all still liable to it.
Thank you, Charles Forgrave

I agree. But people should not expect the prosecutor to put his neck on the line for something that cannot be done until the board decides to act. That is just mean and stupid.

The prosecutor is responsible for upholding the law. If the board told the prosecutor to ignore the law, would he? Isn't the prosecutor held to some sort of ethics in order to be able to practice law...to remain licensed in order to continue to practice? It's called doing the right thing or except the title of chicken sh*t.

The McCoy/Hoffman/Pine-Nertoli pack are and always have been cronies who are concerned first and foremost with taking care of their family and friends. Look how many family members of Cathy's are employed in good jobs? The tribe even paid for her husband to go to school and he is not even a tribal member ! She is the queen of nepotism..of coure Deb Pine will give her a run for the title now that she is on the board. Bernard employed his entire family with the tribe at good salaries. These people are just pigs at the trough and need to be removed.

All the boo hooing in the world will not stop what is going on with the tribe. The bod has been allowed to ride rough shod over things and they have it so tightly wrapped up that the truth will never be known. And even if the truth is known what difference will it make? They have a strangle hold on things and they are not about to let it go until the gravy train has no more to offer to them or their friends and family. At that time and at that time only will they hand over the reins. And we all are aware what shape things will be in by then.
And as far as voting them out... I guess we found out what good voting does with the election of the infamous Bouschour and the unknown Pine and the retention of Abrahamson....The list goes on and on.
Maybe a company wide work stoppage would get their attention. I mean when the gaming dollars aren't rolling in............ one never knows what could happen.

Yes the prosecutor probably took an oath to uphold the law, but everyone knows on tribal land that the Board of Directors is the law. So again to expect one person to go outside the wishes of the Board is not just unfair, it is just stupid.

The Board should along with others who have the power to remove or bring charges do same against Bouschor. After reading the Miller Canfield disposition someone should contact the Feds or MIchigan Bar, the action taken by these attorneys was shameful they worked for the Tribe not Bouschor and should have notified Board members about this action not let them hide it like it came out. They took tribal money to mess over the tribes members.

Our right to make changes through referendum is the one voice we have left....use it.
