Wow,what a tangled web we weave. I noticed this particular resolution hasn't been signed. But has one been signed...does anybody know? All I know for sure is that it sends shivers up my spine. Gatzaros made tens of millions off Greektown, why wouldn't he want to be involved in another big enterprise development with the tribe. Greektown went belly up and the tribe lost tens of millions and he himself made off with tens of millions. The same with Bouschor. He went to Detroit and set around on Friday afternoon's in an office down the street from the casino and we paid him $17,000.00 a week to do it. So the tribe lost bundle, it didn't bother these indiviuals, they both made out like bandits. It's not hard to understand why either one of them would love to be involved in another big financial transaction of the tribe's. Thank you, Charles Forgrave
Wait a minute. Just because the Tribal Board was stupid enough to make a deal with the Greeks for a truckload of money, what are the Greeks unsavory ? They are business people and made a deal to benefit themselves...big surprise ! That is what being a business person is all about. A couple years ago Ted G., one of the greeks, offered to help the tribe save Greektown Casino. The tribe would have maintained half control. But oh no, they wanted it all and their greed resulted in them losing it all.
i agree with you the people who give the bod their reports are the ones to blame it is still happening on a local level joe quickly put his relation to work alan still being paid way to much money and cant do his job sheryl and russ mckerchie way to much money for their jobs that they are unable to do their jobs then there is tony goetze where do we start first he has no balls what so ever talks a big story when there are no bod members around how he runs the show then cowars right down when asked to do a favor for cathy or dj or lana puts their relatives to work that opens the door for day to day theivery that goes untouched ask dale bosly or ken ermintinger and tony gets rid of the work force that actualy enjoys their jobs and makes us money.This makes absolutely no sense no wonder darcy chase is so happy anymore it is good when you leave the tribe what a bunch of back stabbers. we as members allow this we need to take out the theives ourselves the bod will not help HR will not help only us the st ignace casino is a complete joke anymore i hope vanderbilt takes all our customers serves us right
Heard today that Chairman McCoy broke the tie vote at the last board meeting and approved the resolution for the tribe to go in with Gatzaro's and Campbell on negoitating and developing a casino property in Romulus, Michigan. Two thumbs down...
Hasn't the BOD learned their lesson by now. With no money to give for decent raises for any of the employees, or give out a Xmas bonus, or give back the 401k program, lets build another casino. Why would you want to get involved with the Greeks again, what's the problem Bernard don't have enough money to line his pockets. Why are we involved with the Greeks, once you bring in from outside what happens, they take over, they unionize and then again their all making better wages and all of are money from here is going there. You all got to remember, who is running the show. We know its not Joe McCoy, we really know he is just a puppet on a string, yes man. Who knows the Greeks, give you one guess, he got us involved once and now he's doing it again.
It has been suggested that Tonky Trump is getting a second chance to realize his diamond mine. Apparently, his previous mining efforts, in Detroit, were failed because of a glitch in his GPS. He had really wanted to dig somewhere to the south by about thirty miles. Again, he needed the majority support of the Board of Directors and it was handed to him by non other than Joe McCoy, in a tie breaker. His track record is a bit shoddy....loosing a billion dollars on his poor negotiating ability previously with the greeks. How much will it cost the tribe this time? Unfortunately, it sure does seem as if Director Hollowell jumped ship on us. What happened to the friendly person that was so outgoing during the election?
Director Hollowell is a disappointment. I had hopes that there was more there, but apparently there isn't....apparently she's taken up with those who like to play bigshot.
